This summer, foodies can sharpen their culinary skills with the chefs at three Dubai restaurants. Each session accommodates up to 20 participants with a minimum of ten participants to book a workshop. At AED150 per adult and AED95 per child, the workshops entitle you to a welcome drink and a dine-in or take-away of the prepared items, as well as a recipe card to practice newly acquired skills at home.
Guests keen to learn pizza making need look no further than Big Chefs, Dubai’s favourite neighbourhood restaurant at The Beach opposite JBR this season.
From July 2016, a variety of classes will be taught through the summer months – from bread making workshops with an array of toppings to form the perfect pizza, to soufflé making workshops where you can learn to cook up a delicious classic chocolate soufflé. Amateur bakers can bake the perfect batch of cookies with the kids. A selection of four flavours is demonstrated to workshop participants.
Hosted by Executive Chef Abs, the one-hour workshop is available to groups and can be scheduled any day of the week between 10:00am and 11:30am on weekdays or from 05:00pm to 07:00pm on weekends.

Classes offer participants a choice of two menus featuring classic delights such as guacamole and tortilla chips, quesadilla and chimichurri or even a mouthwatering dessert like chia seed and yoghurt pudding with pumpkin ice cream. They can also learn to perfectly fillet and plate kingfish to serve up alongside the quintessential Mexican special – Veracruz sauce.
The one-hour workshop is available to groups and can be scheduled any day of the week between 11:00am and 04:00pm from Thursday to Saturday.
Butcha Steakhouse & Grill
Butcha Steakhouse & Grill introduces cooking classes for residents and visitors keen to impress friends and families with their newly gained culinary prowess.
Hosted at the flagship outlet at The Beach, the one-hour workshop is available to groups and can be scheduled any day of the week between 10:00am and 11:30am on weekdays or between 05:00pm and 07:00pm on weekends.
You can choose from four menus that demonstrate two delicious grills in one session. The chef takes the group through the steps of preparing the perfect Beef Carpaccio and Butcha grill kofte with cheese – with Menu 1, or Barbeque Ribs and a Cheese Steak Burger with Menu 2. Menu 3 is a shish cooking session offering lessons with the chef to prepare a juicy Beef Shashlik and a tender Chicken Shish, while Menu 4 guides participants in preparing and plating the Chef Signature tenderloin and a Butcha Classic Burger.
