A Classic Christmas awaits you at WAFI

Meet Santa, decorate gingerbread and shop for the festive season…

A Classic Christmas will come to life at WAFI as the famous Santa’s Grotto opens its doors tomorrow, Thursday, December 7.

Wafi Mall will be buzzing with excitement to celebrate this joyous occasion as Christmas bells ring through the mall.

You’ll be greeted by an exceptional choir performance by the children of Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park from 5pm onwards. The event will be hosted by Virgin Radio Dubai’s DJ Kris Fade, who will then accompany Santa to turn on the lights of the magical Christmas tree to mark the beginning of the celebrations.

Renowned for its Santa’s Grotto, WAFI brings an animated display throughout the mall. This year patrons will see a simple, classic Christmas. The mall will enthral visitors of all ages from December 7th -24th during mall opening hours with special timings as it gets busier. Children who visit Santa in his grotto will receive a cuddly soft toy, a framed photograph with Santa, a raffle coupon for a chance to win one of two prizes with Lufthansa German Airlines, and many more offers throughout the mall, for just AED 60.

Tiny tots visiting the grotto can enjoy the free gingerbread decoration area, where they can create their own festive edible goodies while patiently waiting to meet Santa! What’s more, don’t forget the Light and Sound Show facing the Pyramid’s entrance every evening at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, and at 8pm and 9:30pm for special festive shows.

A visit to a very festive ArtE, The Makers’ Market is highly recommended. The lively bazaar hosts beautifully-crafted goods including handicrafts, ceramics, candles, fashion, accessories and much more.
